A zest of Jess cook book launch cake giveaway.

'A zest of Jess cookbook launch', has finally come to an end and truly I am so grateful for the amazing support, love and kindness to all who came. With a total of 240 attendees I am so thankful to my amazing family and friends who came to help set up, transport and execute the launch. I thank My mum, dad and brother Jeremy, my friends Chantelle Gordon, Heather Gordon, Kaitlyn Renkin, Alex Renkin, Meagan Renkin, Sammantha Ngo, Cathryn Wong, Nathan Verhallen, Georgia Watson, Froncis Tavai, Jane Rusli, Monica Khuon, Shalini Rambukwella, Destin Fernando, Bobby Susanto, venue managers Sam Saputra, Sandy and Adam Langley for making this launch such a success.


I cannot thank all of these people enough for constantly sticking by my side and supporting me in making my dreams a reality. Because of your generosity and support we were able to sell 120 books. Further selling a total of 170/250 hard copy cookbooks in the week.With a remaining 80 special edition of 'Foreword", spelt "foreward", I thankyou for all who purchased a copy and I can't wait to move forward to new projects ahead.

All Cakes and sweet treats were all homemade from a range of 20 different types of sweets, Passionfruit meringue tarts, blackberry ruby chocolate mousse, Orange and yuzu chocolate, Coffee and hazelnut, raspberry and chocolate, Sour raspberry and white chocolate, Salted macarons, Caramel slices, Coffee opera cakes and the list goes on. All desserts presented on the day are available for purchase as I am launching my catering business, all enquiries are accepted through the service or enquiry page.

This cook book would not have been complete without the amazing help of Shannon Loh who set up the template (Master pages) and layout of the cookbook. Toby Trinh who did an amazing shoot for the front cover and back cover. Christian Razukas who corrected all of my grammar mistakes and the motivation of the public to keep pushing forward with all that I do.


Every failure or closing door, leads to other opportunities and truly I am grateful to have the opportunity to self publish even when I didn't have faith. Although there were times that catch me off guard and times that seemed to be a waste of time I am relief it has finally come to a great ending.

Tri Trading, distributes Fil d or Purees, they have a wide range of purees. Such as Passionfruit, Calamansi, Lychee, Lime, Ginger, Coconut, Strawberry, Raspberry, Mango and dragon fruit.


Premier food supplies, a supplier that distributes a large range of products from dairy goods, dry goods, tart shells, canned food items and chocolates.


Berry freshAU, provides an amazing range of freeze dried berry crumbles, whole freeze dried berries or powdered form. The range from raspberry, blackberries, blueberries, strawberry and his upcoming range of cherry and banana.


Cobram estate, has launched up a new range of baking infuse olive oils which comes in three varieties, Blood orange,Vanilla and Chai.


Stone and Grove, a branch of Cobram estate which are teas made from olive leaves. They provide great health benefits and are delicious and soothing to have on a cold winters day.


Planetshakers church, the venue space hired out for the function. A variety of function spaces available for hire with a capacity from 250-960.

Thankyou to Nani Puspasari, @designani for designing this beautiful website in which I was able to not only reach Australia throughout but had the opportunity to distribute my books to customers in Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Canada and within Australia;

Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth.


To conclude, I thankyou for all who were involved in the making of this cookbook. Who knew that 16 months ago I'd be publishing my own cookbook. Its truly a dream come true and I hope that this book will inspire many home cooks to love cooking as much as I do. Can't wait to see what you all create!!
